Shameful Behaviour is a 3-piece heavy rock/metal band, formed back in 2004 by Mark Simpson as a vehicle for his song writing. The music is a combination of great pumping original rock and metal with a dash of punk thrown in for good measure. With songs that tell a story and have meaning with face-melting lead guitar, Shameful Behaviour are a force to be reckoned with. Primarily an original music band, Shameful Behaviour are not averse to playing the occasional cover of a classic metal song from the bands that have influenced them. The band has had the privilege of sharing the stage with such names as Carmine Appice, Vinnie Moore (UFO), Doug Scarrat (Saxon), and the incredible Michael Angelo Batio.
Mark Simpson heads up the band, and brings over 30 years of playing with killer rhythm chops and screaming lead guitar. As a song writer, Mark has composed the majority of Shameful Behaviour’s original material to date. Mark cites his influences as Hendrix, Gary Moore, Eric Clapton, Randy Rhodes and Ritchie Blackmore. The band use Rotosound Roto Yellows and Roto Greys as well as Rotosound SM66 Swing Bass strings.
